About the Awards

The San Fernando Valley International Film Festival, inc (VIFFI) was founded in March 2003 to promote and encourage the endeavors of our International Creative Community in all known media, by providing exposure to their productions and writings by way of a film and entertainment festival held in the San Fernando Valley.

Official Festival Selections will be announced approximately September 1, 2008. Category Award nominees will be announced shortly thereafter, with the category winners announced on October 26, 2008.

The top award winner in each category will receive a trophy. All nominees will receive a handsome certificate.

Festival judges include entertainment industry professionals, members of the Directors Guild, Writers Guild, Screen Actors Guild, AFTRA, Women in Film, and the media.
